This little slice of Suffolk is really special and well worth sharing, and we hope that the rustic setting has a charm and character that will appeal to other like minded, gentle folk like you.
Checking in:
- Arrival time is anytime from 12pm. (Departures by 11am).
- On arrival, please stop at ‘The Shippen’ to let us know you are here.
- If we are unavailable, pitch allocations are written on the board, so you can simply continue to the camping field to pitch up.
- If your name is not on the board for any reason e.g. a late booking (or error!) please choose an unallocated pitch - we'll pop over to see you as soon as we can!
- Follow the signs diagonally across the yard & grass, in front of stables to the camping field.
- Pitches are numbered 1-9 from left of the field entrance. Pitch 10 is the pre erected tent in the middle. Numbered blocks mark the center of each pitch.
- On arrival please read the site information found in the grey recycling boxes on your pitch.
- Pitch up - and relax or explore around. Help yourself to tea/coffee/squash from the store.

- Drive slowly & be aware of other vehicles, animals, pedestrians & children on site.
- Please refer to the site map where public/guest access is permitted.
- Be familiar with our fire emergency procedure (see notice at washing up area).
- This is a no smoking site. Extinguish cigarettes before entering the camping field.
- We allow well behaved, kind & sensible children to share & use the site and play equipment at your own risk. Parent/carers must take full responsibility, as we cannot accept liability for any accident or injury - no matter how caused.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- ALL dogs must be kept on leads at all times.
- Do not allow your dog to poop on the camping field! Pick up & dispose of waste responsibly.
- Adhere to the countryside code whilst on site and when out and about.
- BBQs & fires to be kept off the grass. Cold coals/ash disposal in the metal ash bin only.
- Toilet chemicals must be eco/environmentally friendly as we have a septic tank - not mains! Please ask us if you want to dispose of toilet waste.
- Please sort your rubbish responsibly and recycle as much as possible: Use your grey box to separate & collect recyclable materials & dispose loose/un bagged in the blue paladin bin. Use the bin bag provided for general waste and dispose bags in green/landfill paladin bin. Deposit glass in the crate and compost all organic waste (not meat or fish).
- If you purchase items or hire items from the honesty shop, please make a note in the log book and place money in the tin, or make a bank transfer - Sunnyside Campsite, 20-16-12 43807126. (We hope to have contactless card readers set up for 2023).

- Pitches to be vacated by 11am on your day of departure.
- Please empty your recycling box, safely empty and return fire pits & log sacks to the store.
- Check the fridge/freezer for your food/drink at the end of your stay. You may wish to leave in date items on the table in the store for other guests to use - rather than throw it away.
