Sunnyside Farm, IP19 8RH is nestled amongst the gently rolling countryside of North East Suffolk and is an ideal base from which to explore the coast, towns, villages and countryside.
Situated near the level crossing at the edge of Westhall village, it is surrounded by arable farm land, quietly hidden out in the ‘stix’, and well off the beaten track. We can (just about) be found between the historic market towns of Halesworth, Bungay and Beccles.
We are a 2 hour drive from London – 15 mins off the A12 at Blythburgh, A145 towards Beccles, or 45 minutes from Norwich – turning left off the A143 (the old Roman Road known as ‘Stone Street’) from Bungay, at Ilketshall Saint Lawrence.
Sunnyside Farm is a 20 minute drive to the beautiful National Landscapes, coast, forests and heathlands at Covehithe and Southwold, Dunwich & Walberswick, RSPB Minsmere. The Broads National Park & Waveney Valley are also nearby with Latitude Festival at Henham (only 4 miles away). All are reachable within easy cycling distance along small, quiet country lanes.
The No.1 National Cycle Route and 'The Wolf Way' passes along Butts Lane at the end of Wangford Road/Cox Common and we are a perfect little stop off for any weary cyclist in need of rest and a place to pitch up.
